ITERATIONS --> IMPACT

Seeing My Work Come To Life

One of the most rewarding parts of my internship was designing marketing materials that were ultimately used for real resident events. Rather than creating a design once and moving on, every piece went through multiple rounds of feedback and refinement with the marketing team. Each revision pushed me to think more critically about hierarchy, spacing, responsiveness, branding, and clarity. After working through those iterations and receiving final approval, seeing one of my flyers published for a residential property event felt especially meaningful. It transformed the project from a design exercise into something that would be seen and used by real residents. That experience reinforced the importance of collaboration, attention to detail, and embracing feedback as an essential part of the creative process.

CONCLUSIONS & TAKEAWAYS

What I learned

This internship shifted my perspective on design. I learned that effective brand design extends beyond creating visually appealing assets—it involves building scalable systems that enable teams to work faster and maintain consistency. Through constant iteration and feedback, I gained experience balancing business needs, marketing goals, and technical constraints while designing for real-world use across multiple properties.
